For students who have industry background or knowledge, the Network+ Prep certificate offers preparation for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam, which is the leading vendor-neutral certification for networking professionals. Topics covered include network technologies, media and topologies, devices, management tools and security.
Students who feel they may have sufficient background or knowledge to be successful in one of these abbreviated programs are strongly encouraged to contact one of the program instructors prior to enrolling, to discuss the prior skill sets.
Employment opportunities with this certificate include network administrator, network technician, network installer, help desk technician, and IT cabling installer.
