Guaranteed Admission Agreement

Guaranteed admission to the university to complete a bachelor’s degree (choice of major not guaranteed). Receive NIU academic advising prior to transfer.

  • 2.0 GPA on all transferable coursework at all colleges and universities attended; complete 24 transferable credits; expected to complete general education requirements of the intended major; and earned a high school diploma or GED. Must be in good standing at BHC at time of transfer.
  • 3.3 GPA guarantees admission to the University Honors Program.

IAI Participant

This college or university participates in the Illinois Articulation Initiative.

The Illinois Articulation Initiative General Education Core Curriculum (IAI GECC) is a collection of general education courses that, when completed, an IAI participating institution agrees to accept in place of its own comparable lower-division general education requirements. Completing the IAI GECC works best for students who plan to transfer to an IAI participating school but who have not decided which one.

When the IAI GECC is not completed before transfer, the transfer school will evaluate general education courses on a course-by-course basis.
